Janet Garofalow

JANET GAROFALOW - President

From 1998-2006, Janet was the Assistant Vice President for Sales at Castle Oil Corporation where she oversaw policies and procedures for the natural gas sales department. She also managed natural gas and fuel oil accounts for high profile clients and served as an ESCO (energy services company) representative at NY Public Service Commission hearings. In addition, she prepared a monthly energy report, coordinating marketing and public relations efforts on natural gas issues.

In 1997, Janet directed the set up for a branch office of ERI Services, Inc. in the emerging deregulated energy market. The foundation of her skill sets were developed from 1994-1997 as a rate and tariff expert for National Utility service, Inc. where she was awarded membership in the President’s Club for Outstanding Achievement.Janet is a member of the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York as well as a member of the Bronx-Manhattan Board of Realtors. She has published articles for NYARM (New York Association of Real Estate Managers) and has recently been honored in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide in the field of Energy Consulting.Janet has served as an officer for the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs on the local and state levels. She is on the Honor Roll of the New Jersey Federation of Women’s’ Clubs and was the recipient of the Community Service award from the Borough of Park Ridge.

Janet lives in Park Ridge with her husband, Rich who is an elementary school teacher in River Vale, New Jersey. They have three sons, David, Mark and his wife Leigh, and Matthew and his wife Mary.
